Product Feed PRO for WooCommerce by AdTribes
Plugin: Product Feed PRO for WooCommerce by AdTribes
FOX is compatible with this plugin, no code required. AdTribes added native FOX support to their Product Feed Multi-Currency Addon, so you can build a separate product feed for every currency your shop sells in.
What you get
The currency is chosen per feed, not per store. One catalog can go to Google Shopping in USD and in AUD at the same time, each feed with its own country and channel.
- Regular, sale and active prices are converted at the FOX exchange rate.
- If you set fixed prices per currency in FOX, the feed takes them instead of the calculated amount.
- Shipping costs are converted too, for channels that carry shipping in the feed.
What you need
- FOX with your currencies set up. The free FOX works with two currencies, for more you need FOX Pro.
- Product Feed PRO 13.5.5 or newer, which is free.
- Product Feed Multi-Currency Addon, included in the Plus and Business plans of Product Feed Elite.
Setting it up
- In FOX, check every currency and its rate in WooCommerce > Settings > Currency.
- Activate the Multi-Currency Addon. It finds FOX by itself, there is no extra switch to turn on.
- Open Product Feed > Create feed, or an existing feed, and pick the currency in the "Currency (FOX)" drop-down on the General tab, under the project name.
- Set the country and channel, save, generate the feed and check the prices in the file.
To add another market, duplicate a feed and change the currency together with the country and channel. The saved currency is copied with the feed, so it is easy to forget.
Things to keep in mind
- Feeds read the FOX settings directly, not the currency a visitor picked on the site.
- If you delete a currency in FOX, feeds that used it can no longer convert. Pick another currency in the feed and generate it again.
