How to add order manually

Creating an order by hand in a currency other than the base one needs the steps in the right order, because the currency selector only appears once the order exists.

• Create the order and press Save.
• Select the currency of the order in the FOX box, then press Save again.
• Now add the line items. Their prices will be taken in the currency you selected.

Adding products before setting the currency is the usual mistake: the items land in the base currency and stay there, because the amounts are already written to the order.

The order keeps its currency afterwards, so refunds and reports read the currency the sale actually happened in.
